Schofield & Sims English Skills provides regular graded practice to develop pupils' literacy skills at Key Stage 2. Additional features include a glossary to support the confident use of literacy terms and a progress chart to allow pupils to monitor their own skills.English Skills 2 aligns with the National Curriculum end-of-year expectations for Year 4 and covers the following topics: fronted adverbials; expanded noun phrases; determiners; pronouns to avoid repetition; apostrophes for plural possession; Standard English verb forms; vocabulary and grammar improvements; and spelling rules and exceptions.
