Kimberley and her friends were so excited. They were going on a school trip and staying at Gogarth Abbey in Llandudno for a whole week. The abbey was a very old and spooky place and all was not as it seemed, as the girls soon discovered. Why was the annexe out of bounds? Was there someone hiding in there, or were the black shadows and a face at the window a trick of the light? They decided to investigate further, starting with the gardener's shed which no one was allowed near. They had to find an excuse to get in there and have a look and turned down a trip to the zoo as an excuse, but they weren't expecting the shock when they finally got to see what was behind the curtain. Their investigations revealed a mystery which had lain dormant for many years, which was now solved and the ghosts of the past finally released. A charming twist to an old favourite.
